• Tyler Tran

    Founder - Director North America

    Tyler is an advocate for accessibility activism. He first gained interest in accessibility in the 6th grade, successfully fundraising $40k for a sight dog with his class. He is active in a special needs community at the Milal Mission where he volunteers and trains new volunteers. He is passionate about helping people with autism, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, etc. to enrich their lives. His efforts in accessibility tools development is ongoing. He is currently working on developing a digital cane for the visually impaired, using the latest sensor technology. Tyler is an active member of his community, raising $7k+ for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and authored a $6k grant for his robotics team to organize engineering courses for low-income grade schoolers. He is an advocate for accessible websites in the community. In his free time he enjoys discussion and reading on neuroscience research.

  • Owen Wong

    Co-Founder - Director Southeast Asia

    Owen currently resides in Singapore and is the lead for accessibility awareness in the Southeast Asia Region. While initially more focused on environmental service through park cleanups, he began to engage with accessibility by volunteering at a Shining Stars Halloween event at Calvary Church in the 10th grade. After volunteering in other forms of accessibility service, such as volunteering briefly at Fish and Loaves and community center refurbishment, he now regularly teaches English classes to Indonesian orphans. Owen has a big heart for all things accessibility, particularly in education.

  • Ronit Kanjilal

    Director South Asia

    Ronit has a background in engineering and software development. He has successfully developed several accessibility apps including one to address dementia. Ronit travels the United States and India and brings true enthusiasm for lifting awareness for accessibility in Indian communities.

  • Travis Tran

    Travis is currently a student at UC Davis. Travis provides in-home-support for low vision people. He has travelled to Poland and Ukraine to help refugee communities. He provides an accessibility perspective at the college level across college campuses. He is very passionate about mental wellness.

    Board Advisor

    Vu is visually impaired, he provides advice and leads discussions on low-vision topics. Vu holds a B.S. in Chemistry and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California San Diego. He worked at many technology companies in the Silicon Valley including eBay, Cisco Systems, and Sony Electronics.

  • Neeraj Gupta

    Board Advisor

    Neeraj currently works at the vista center for the blind and visually impaired as the community relations and operations associate. The vista center is a wonderful non-profit serving the blind and low vision community . He manages internal operations through project management, assists in corporate and community development, heads the volunteer program , and leads the internal staff connections committee. Having lost his sight at the age of 20, Neeraj now works to accessible solutions for the visually-impaired.
